Wine basic basic food pairing

Red wine white wine for fish and meat to provide everyone to hear. A good rule to follow is very limited standard. Line somewhere along we went to the extreme opposite of certain foods for specific wine pairing, from very simple rules. Personally, I really I Schrader shortribs, Merlot, Chardonnay and cheese to go or do not want to search for. I needed a simple list to loosely follow! Provide enough detail to remember my life.
